Mubiana Luhila elected to ICOM-CC Board
We are pleased to report that at the 13th ICOM-CC Triennial Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, held in September 2002, Mubiana Luhila was elected to serve on the ICOM-CC Directory Board.
ICOM-CC is one of 25 International Committees of ICOM (International Council of Museums) and comprises more than 1,500 professionals from every continent concerned with the museum world and with the preservation, conservation and restoration of heritage objects.
The ICOM-CC Directory Board sets ICOM-CC's programme and oversees the Working Groups. Its members serve for three years. Mubiana has said, "It is my hope that we will all work together to place African conservation issues on the agenda of this very important and active conservation world body".
