The Centre for Heritage Development in Africa (CHDA) and her sister institution, EPA hosted the post- Africa 2009 Project Design Workshop in
 Mombasa, Kenya from 10-12 August. The workshop brought together leaders in the field of Immovable Heritage Manager such as; Joe King (ICCROM),

Dr Webber Ndoro and Souayibou Varissou(African World Heritage Fund), faux pas’ ish.... Bako Rakotomamonjy from CRATerre ENSAG, Lazare Eloundou (World Heritage Centre), Baba Keita (Africa 2009), Directors of Immovable Heritage, Dr Idle Farah (Kenya) and Sibongile van Damme Masuku (South Africa), sadly Dr Hamady Bocoum of Senegal could not attend. Drs
Alexis Adande from University of Porto Novo and Professor Umar of ATBU in Bouchy represented academic institutions. CHDA and EPA acted as the
Secretariat under the direction of the facilitator, Jacob Sovoessi. After the closure of the workshop, the plans were further refined by the two
institutions under the direction of their Directors. Watch this space for further updates on the plans!!!
