Larens Van der Post visited and wrote about the panel in his book Lost World of the
Kalahari. There are about 4500 paintings in a 10sq kilometre area ,making it one of the
Most dense rock art sites in the world. Tsodilo became a world heritage in December
2001 being listed as a cultural heritage site.
