PMDA is one of the few institutes in sub-Saharan Africa offering specialised training in the field of heritage conservation, management and use. Drawing on its network of heritage professionals as a resource, it offers a wide variety of training activities on different themes. The growing team of teachers is building up resources specific to the African context. Training activities range from one week workshops to a nine months university course.
